How much does it cost ?
     It is important to note that the cost of care will depend on many factors.  A more complex case will require more time and therapy and will likely cost more.
 

Can chiropractic treat my problem?

     Chiropractic treats the person not the problem. We have an excellent record helping people with many conditions. Please see our Conditions Treated page for  more information.

How many will it take?

     It is allows difficult to know how your body will respond to treatments. If your goal is just to get out of pain, chiropractic can usually help with a few treatments. However, if you change how you see health form "surviving to thriving" chiropractic care can benefit you for the rest of your life.

I heard once you go to a chiropractor you need to go !

     Every patient is different. I have some patients who see me as needed to relieve acute flare-ups and I have some patients who see me regularly to improve and maintain their general health. No patient is ever forced to come in to see me; but instead people come into the office because they appreciate how chiropractic care improves their lives.


Will the adjustment hurt?

     Sometimes chiropractic adjustments can be uncomfortable. But I employ several different treatment methods to accommodate each patient's special needs. Some patients find that the Activator or the drop table work better for them. Other patients need a more forceful manual adjustment. We will work together to find the right treatment for you.

Is chiropractic safe?
     Yes, for over 100 years millions of people have been safely helped through chiropractic care. There are dozens of medical studies that demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of chiropractic. The risk of side effects is incredibly small when compared to the side effects of medications or the risk of complications due to surgery.

Auto Accidents:   Will chiropractic care be covered?
     In Oregon all insured motorists are required to carry personal injury protection (PIP) insurance.  This allows an injured person to get the care they need after a crash.  Do not worry that because you did not go to the ER that you are not entitled to care.  It is common for patients to have mild or even no symptoms at the time of the accident only to feel worse a day or two latter.  It is also important to note; that you are not required to seek a medical doctor’s referral prior to seeing a chiropractor.

I Work related injuries: Will chiropractic care be covered?
     In Oregon people injured on the job can seek care and have it paid for by Worker’s Compensation insurance.  Please let the staff know if your injuries are work related.  A chiropractor can act as a primary physician for worker’s compensation claims.  This means you do not need a medical doctor’s referral to see a chiropractor.

Does Medicare Part B cover chiropractic?
    Medicare Part B also covers chiropractic care.   Depending on your type of Medicare we may be able to be your primary physician or we will work with your medical doctor to get you the best care possible.

 

Does my insurance cover chiropractic?
    With the changes in the healthcare system many insurance companies now cover chiropractic care.  We will be happy to call your insurance company and determine if you have any chiropractic coverage.  We will also do the required paper work and billing to process your claim.  We ask that you pay your co-pay and any deductible at the time of each visit.
